Gorgon City Celebrates Fiancé Azzecca’s Birthday at Burning Man Two Weeks Before Wedding

Gorgon City and fiancé Azzecca celebrate her 32nd birthday at Burning Man while also preparing for their wedding in the next few weeks.

If you kept up with social media for the past week, one event may have popped up on your feed. The iconic Burning Man festival took place. From August 27th to September 4th in the desert oasis of Black Rock City attendees gathered. Although most news stories covered the negative sides of the festival, there were glimpses of beauty and fun. One of those Burning Man moments includes Azzecca and her birthday celebration in the desert with her fiance Kye Gibbon from Gorgon City.

Azzecca, an artist known for her underground sound, has solidified her presence in the music realm. She is known for her involvement in the underground club scene of Chicago. The artist even curates her own large expanding event series called ‘Dirty Disco‘. Certainly, a significant influence undoubtedly comes from her fiancé, Kye Gibbon. Kye who forms one-half of Gorgon City alongside Matt Robson Scott is no stranger to the scene. With their own label, Realm, as well as huge tracks like “You’ve Done Enough”, the duo is unstoppable.

During their Burning Man expedition, Allie celebrated her 32nd birthday. In a sweet post, Kye states “Everybody please wish a very dusty Allie a very happy birthday!! 🎈🎈 What an insane few days! i love you so so so much and can’t wait to marry you in less than two weeks. i don’t know what I’d be with you Bean xx .”

Shortly after the festivities, Azzecca jumped right back into work. She followed up Burning Man with her debut at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles then a trip to  Las Vegas. In her latest post she gives a glimpse into her weekend stating “Now that I’ve had a little time to sleep, I just want to say thank you to everyone who came out to my sets this weekend! I was honestly a little sad to be away from Chicago and all of my friends on my birthday, but you all made up for it x 10000. I just wish I had eaten my cupcake at @sound_nightclub. Can’t believe the next time I DJ I’ll be married AND I’ll be opening up the Crane stage at PORTOLA .”

Certainly, seeing their two love story in the music scene is special. Back in 2020, huge things happened for Kye and Allie. Kye moved from London to Chicago and they became engaged. But now, just weeks away, they await their upcoming wedding. Together with a birthday celebration in the desert and a wedding weeks away, there is so much to celebrate for these two! We wish Azzecca a happy belated birthday! As well as, a cheers to the soon-to-be married couple! Also, be sure to check out Gorgon City’s essentials linked below.

My name is Emilee Gabbard. I currently live in sunny Orange County, CA. By day I am a project manager working in the aerospace industry, but by night a music blogger for yours truly, Exron Music! I have been writing for Exron Music for around eight months now and cannot wait to see what is to come throughout the years. At festivals and clubs, you will find me at any house and techno stage supporting my favorites Eli Brown or Dom Dolla, or belting every word to Porter Robinson tracks wherever he performs.
