From sparking feud to romance rumors in just a matter of days, John Summit and Alix Earle sent the internet into a frenzy after videos of them together have gone viral.
On August 31st, ESPN posted a video on TikTok exposing an awkward-looking interaction between Summit and Earle at the Inter Miami FC game. The video caught the two in what appears to be a one-sided conversation between the Miami residents. To the naked eye, it looks like Earle couldn’t be more uninterested in the conversation, as she looks away and checks her phone while Summit small-talks.

On September 1st, Earle posted on TikTok about this interaction in her famous, “get ready with me videos.” She clarified that she simply had a bad case of RBF (resting b*tch face) and that both public figures are actually “huge fans” of one another.
“ESPN sniped me yesterday,” she joked as she started the video. “I’ve known that I have a resting b*tch face, but when I saw this clip, I was like, ‘Oh my god. I am scared of myself.’” She continued to reveal that when the video was taken, a famous person had been standing in front of Summit and Earle, and with the combination of cameras in their face she was hoping to “just act chill.’”

That same day, Earle and Summit posted videos of each other together at Summit’s Miami condo. Both appeared friendly with each other and made light of the situation by making fun of the now-viral video. Summit captioned a video he posted of the two, “ESPN you should stick to sports,” while Earle posted a TikTok of them doing shots writing, “this guys not that bad after all.”
Although the status of their relationship is unclear, the two have left fans puzzled and wondering – was it just friendly content or could it be something more?
