RÜFÜS DU SOL to Play DJ Set at Zamna Tulum

RÜFÜS DU SOL plans a “Very Special DJ Set” ahead Zamna Festival in Tulum.

Fresh off their North American Summer Tour, the trance-inducing trio, RÜFÜS DU SOL, recently announced their return to Tulum for Zamna Festival. As the hottest event to kick off 2024, we couldn’t think of a better imprint like Rose Avenue to host such an anticipated party.

Zamna Festival is an electronic music festival with experiences all over the world. Based out of Tulum, Zamna backdrops a cenote in the lush jungle. RÜFÜS DU SOL last set foot in Tulum in 2022 for their Sundream Festival, a double-weekender that graced the beachside. The trio will be headlining Zamna Festival on January 11th, 2024, accompanied by a “hand-picked,” to-be-announced lineup.

The last time we heard from RÜFÜS DU SOL, they had just wrapped up their North American Tour with supporting acts Channel Tres, HVOB, and Monolink. The group has been on the road for almost two years and plans to take a break to head back to Australia to work on new music. Besides a few covers, the group has not released new music since their 2021 album ‘Surrender’ leaving Zamna festival-goers hopeful for something more.

As the group descends upon Tulum once more, they have promised the Zamna crowd a very special DJ set. Being known for its illustrious background, Zamna sets out to be the perfect location for RÜFÜS DU SOL’s return. RÜFÜS DU SOL sets are known for their masterful layering and atmospheric visuals which are synonymous with the surrounding jungle flora. As the group has honed its sound on exotic dance floors around the globe, they have found inspiration in progressive and deep house music, a combo that will leave festival-goers dancing with the jungle.

After traveling the world, RÜFÜS DU SOL is not ready to stop its growing influence. Taking their talents back to Zamna Festival’s jungle floor, the trio’s highly-anticipated DJ set will be the mind-melting escape you have been waiting for!
