How to Win Groove Cruise & LP Giobbi’s Femme House Undiscovered DJ Contest

Everything you need to know about Groove Cruise’s Annual DJ Contest for the 2024 sailing.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Whet Travel’s flagship event, Groove Cruise, it will be partnering with LP Giobbi’s FEMME HOUSE to present the annual Undiscovered DJ Contest. The cruise sets sail from Miami in January of 2024, where the winner will have the chance to share the stage with global DJ sensations Tiesto, Diplo, and John Summit.

This is an annual event hosted by Groove Cruise, one of the world’s largest floating dance music festivals, from Wednesday, January 24, to Sunday, January 28, 2024. The cruise will leave from Miami for Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

To present this year’s Undiscovered DJ Contest, Groove Cruise will be working with FEMME HOUSE, a non-profit organization started by LP Giobbi that creates equitable opportunities for women, gender-expansive, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals in the music industry. Through education and scholarship opportunities, FEMME HOUSE works with producers, DJs, and other creators to help amplify their voices in the industry. 

To enter the contest, all DJs must submit a 30-minute video mix and a short biography by September 24, 2023, at midnight EST, through the DJ contest submission form. Contestants can be from any country and must be 21+ to enter.

This year’s winner of the Undiscovered DJ Contest will win the opening slot on the Groove Cruises FEMME HOUSE stage. You will be able to show your talents to an international audience and share the stage with DJ superstars. You will also gain other prizes such as paid accommodations, a travel stipend, as well as an episode on the Groove Cruise and the FEMME HOUSE radio show.

For Groove Cruises’ 20th anniversary, they will be going all out with headliners Tiesto, Diplo, and John Summit. The festival will also welcome back veterans like Markus Schulz and Gene Ferris in addition to some more genre-crossing acts like Craig Connelly and Biscits.
