Miss Monique Cancels American Tour Dates and Interstellar Festival Performance

Miss Monique was forced to cancel her recent American performances due to feeling sick.

This past weekend, renowned DJ and producer Miss Monique (born Alesia Arkusha) could not attend her highly-awaited American tour dates. The Ukranian-born artist turned to Instagram on Friday to announce that her performances at Public Works in San Francisco and Interstellar Festival in Los Angeles were officially canceled due to feeling extremely sick.

Luckily, the entire Interstellar Festival was canceled due to Hurricane Hilary, making it easier for her to come out with the disappointing news. In her post, it was evident she felt terrible for canceling these shows, but she had to make the best decision for herself and put her health above all. She closes off her Instagram post caption by expressing, “Once again, my apologies, I feel terrible, but I look forward to seeing you all soon.”

Miss Monique has been touring every speck of the globe throughout the past couple of years. She’s been invited to perform at some of the world’s most esteemed nightclubs and festivals like Pacha Ibiza, Tomorrowland, Cavo Paradiso, The Brooklyn Mirage, Desert Hearts Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, and many more. Although she’s been involved in the scene for about a decade or so now, her North American fandom and performance appearances did not fully emerge until a few years ago. She’s done a phenomenal job introducing a fresh and innovative underground progressive sound to this side of the globe.

Today, Miss Monique has flourished into one of the most influential artists in the industry, and electronic music lovers from all over the globe have grown fond of her sensational melodies. With millions of views on her most recent YouTube uploads, almost a million followers across all social media platforms, continuous top-of-the-chart releases on her record label Siona Records, and more, her accomplishments have been unthinkable.
