Chris Lorenzo Shares Sweet 43rd Birthday Tribute to Chris Lake

Chris Lorenzo shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to his friend and mentor Chris Lake.

The bestie duo we know and love shared some much-appreciated kindness for Chris Lake’s 43rd birthday. Chris Lorenzo shared to his story, “Happy birthday to our supreme leader, [Chris Lake].” Lorenzo then posted a slew of photos together with his bestie, the first of which was a group picture of friends chilling backstage. The second was a screenshot from a music video with the caption, “Could have been a Hollywood star!” Followed up with a silly photo captioned, “But chose a life of bleeps and bloops.”

The love fest culminated with a silly photo of the duo rocking shades, looking like a pair of fabulous Agent Smiths – the two share a special, silly bond! Although the jokes and comradery are great, the music collaborations and the production prowess demonstrated by Chrises as a team are clearly the bedrock of the bond. The Chrises have collaborated on a number of successful tracks such as ‘Nothing Better,’ ‘We Are (ft. Sam Nicolosi),’ ‘Piano Hand,’ ‘The Calling,’ and their latest release ‘Sensational,’ which dropped in March via Big Beats Records.

Chris and Chris also DJ shows together, most recently at 2023 EDC Las Vegas week, May 17th through the 23rd. Chris Lorenzo is currently on tour stopping in Boston late September to DJ in the city’s premiere venue, The Grand, as well as a cruise through Boston harbor on Boat Cruise Summer Series.

Although there are a handful of released collaborations, there surely are more in the pipeline – the two publicize hanging together in the studio and regularly DJ sets together. Although we cannot confirm for certain, new music feels as though it’s on the horizon.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
