The unfortunate incident that cast a shadow over the tour happened during a final rehearsal session. Details regarding the exact cause of the black eye and the nature of the crew member’s injuries were scarce in the immediate aftermath.

In an official statement, the management team assured fans that both What So Not and the injured crew member were receiving the necessary medical attention. The severity of the injuries was not disclosed, but the assurance that they were under proper care offered some comfort to worried fans.

He shared in his Instagram post, “A crew member in hospital, another landing in the country days late with all the show cables lost, an important piece of tech has not made it to Aus in time WELCOME BACK TO TOURING 🥹🙃 but as usual everyone is rallying, pulling strings, getting it dialed & making it EPIC. Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.
