Emo Nite Enters Creative Partnership with Insomniac and Announces First Event GRAVE RAVE

Emo Nite will kick off its ‘Road to GRAVE RAVE’ preview party on August 26 at Academy LA.

Los Angeles-based event company, Emo Nite, has made a mark on the scene since they first kicked off events. Founders Morgan Freed and T.J. Petracca always aimed to throw events and parties around the music they had a passion for – emo, and pop punk. For almost a decade now, Emo Nite has grown in every way possible. From small-scale shows to an event series that has toured over 50 cities, creating a festival in Las Vegas, and even signing a residency at one of the biggest Vegas clubs, Zouk. Now, the LA company is looking to expand even further with its new creative partnership with Insomniac Events.

While each company brings value, the LA powerhouses will join forces to launch a new event series, Grave Rave. The event series will include performances from both world-known artists and hot up and coming talent. One of the goals of the series is to merge electronic music and melodies of pop-punk, emo, and rock genres. The series will open with its ‘Road to Grave Rave’ party on August 26 at Insomniac’s LA venue, Academy.

The two creative companies are also joining forces on exciting music and apparel collaborations. Today, Emo Nite joins the Insomniac Music Group family with the launch of its record label, Graveboy Records, with forthcoming singles scheduled for release from We The Kings, Say Anything, and Noelle Sucks.

Additionally, the first official collection of “Insomniac x Emo Nite” collaborative merch will debut at HARD Summer 2023, with many more exclusive drops scheduled for the future.

“Emo Nite has been on my radar for many years and I love how it has such a positive community supporting it. I first noticed the synergies between our two scenes during our Rave-a-thon streams when artists from the rave scene played EDM remixes of emo tracks,” Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rosella said. “Viewers online and working Insomniacs were buzzing about it and I knew then it was the perfect fit. When the Emo Nite guys performed at EDC and pulled a massive crowd, it confirmed everything for us Insomniacs. T.J. and Morgan are amazing individuals who embody the same spirit that drives Insomniac.”

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
