RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records Debuts ‘Compilation Vol. 1’ with New Single From Techno Talent Colyn

Rose Avenue Records, the esteemed label founded by the legendary Australian electronic music trio RÜFÜS DU SOL, has just unveiled its highly anticipated ‘Compilation Vol. 1,‘ showcasing an eclectic mix of cutting-edge electronic sounds. Among the soon-to-be-released standout tracks is a mesmerizing single from the prodigious techno talent, Colyn, adding another crown jewel to the label’s already-loaded Rolodex.

Founded in 2019, Rose Avenue Records quickly solidified its position as a tastemaker and trendsetter in the electronic music scene, fostering a platform for artists such as Cassian, Anyma, and Lastlings, to explore innovative sounds beyond the boundaries of genre conventions. Comprising of Jon George, James Hunt, and Tyrone Lindqvist, RÜFÜS DU SOL spearheaded the label with a shared vision of cultivating creativity and nurturing talent in the ever-evolving landscape of electronic music.

The first single off the EP, “Day 8,” is a melodic techno jam that can only be best described as peaking. Hearing this song at a rave, in a dark warehouse, when it’s way past your bedtime will be the equivalent of maybe 5 coffees, 2 Red Bulls, a full case of five-hour energy, or honestly, whatever helps you through the early morning hours of a rave, we don’t judge. The repetitive beat that carries the song leads you through a long build-up, gathering energy and excitement along the way.

The compilation serves as a testament to the collective’s dedication to quality music, offering an immersive listening experience that takes the audience on a journey through various electronic sub-genres. We’re loving the frisson this song created. It is 10 am on a Sunday and this track is bumpin’ with the bass fully up. Sorry neighbors, techno is now how we worship on Sundays thanks to Colyn’s ingenious production skills.
