Armada Music Taps Fedde Le Grand For Remix of  “Happy People”

To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Armada Music is dropping a remix album later in the year and kicking it off with a remix of “Happy People” by Fedde Le Grand.

Immediately kicking off with a drum-prominent, contagious melody and vocals from the original, the DJ’s remix stays true to its predecessor. By highlighting elements like dreamy pianos and synths, Fedde Le Grand reworks the single with his style. The producer has been an imperative part of the scene, most recently bringing fresh sounds to his version of “Happy People.”

Originally released by Static Revenger in 2016, “Happy People” calls on disco, creating a feel-good house track. Fedde Le Grand brings in the original, upbeat vibe, cementing the original and remixing it as a timeless track that brings the grooves. 

Fedde Le Grand has made his mark in dance music, working with songs from like Coldplay, Madonna, and more. With his discography, he has furthered the popularity of house music through innovative beats and melodies. ”Happy People” plays into this further, taking an-already solid track and boosting it with more bass and layered instrumentals.

Founded by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis, Armada has been breaking boundaries in electronic music since 2003. By spotlighting fresh house producers, the record label has implemented itself as a pivotal part of the scene. Fedde Le Grand and the label are not strangers and have sporadically released music together for over five years.
