Ultra Records Launches Revitalized U R House Compilation 21 Years After Original Debut

For over two decades, Ultra Records has been dominating electronic music, signing and releasing music from revolutionary producers. President David Waxman is taking this a step further, curating and launching the first installment of their U R DJ Mix Series, U R House.

The house-focused tracklist calls on a myriad of producers including Anabel Englund, Martin Ikin, DVBBS, and others. Filled with club bangers, U R House is a cohesive mix for house heads and people who like to dance. It has remixes from 4B, Walker & Royce and Chris Lorenzo, Moti, and Cassius.

Their first compilation series dropped in 2002 in a physical format under the name Ultra Dance and found immense success. With 20 total albums and millions of copies sold, DJs globally were inspired to start creating. With the new digital era, Waxman is switching the playlist so that it is available to stream.

“By reimagining this series for the streaming era, the new UR mixes will deliver what Ultra has been known for bringing exciting dance sounds and styles into the mainstream. From remakes of classic hip hop and R&B tracks to brand new club bangers, Ultra has released some incredible house music over the years and because I grew up listening to house music in its golden era, I want to make sure we will continue to do so for years to come,” he said.

David Waxman became their president following a 25-years as a promoter, DJ, and a part of Mixmag and A&R. Since joining Ultra Records, he has made an impact and is now handling the task of kicking off this series. Considering his longtime involvement in the electronic scene, it is no surprise that the first installment of U R House is full of songs that reflect the current status of house music.

Ultra Records revamping its mixes is an exciting step and we are ready for what is coming. U R House is available to listen to on all streaming platforms here. Listen to the full U R House compilation here:
