Underground house music DJ Michael Bibi revealed that he was diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer that affects the brain and spine. He took to social media to share the devastating news of his illness, admitting that “writing this post is a hard one.” Last week, he posted a video to share an update that he has been “doing many tests at the hospital while trying to get more answers.”

The news came as a shock to his fans and the music community. As he updated his condition with a new post this week, fans rallied him and offered their support, well wishes, and messages of encouragement on his socials. Industry colleagues like FISHER, Black Coffee, and Eric Prydz also collectively expressed their love and shared their prayers. Bibi further revealed the condition of his illness, sharing that “unfortunately it’s moving fast & l to have to stay in the hospital starting treatment immediately.”

He states, “I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired but I know I am strong & I won’t let this beat me.
