Alison Wonderland Claps Back at Controversy Over Dropping Out of Hangout Festival Due to Pregnancy

Mom-to-be Alison Wonderland took to social media to display her firm stance on her reasons for cancelling her appearance at Hangout Festival.

Alison Wonderland has been extremely candid about her pregnancy as she continues to fight against the controversy surrounding the cancellation of her appearance at the Hangout Festival. The DJ has announced that she is changing her schedule for upcoming shows for the remainder of her pregnancy and this includes her dropping out of the festival in Alabama that took place on May 19-21.

Posting an update on her story, she wrote firmly about her disappointment over the fans’ lack of understanding. “For all of you STILL mad at me for NOT playing hangout fest this weekend. I am 9 months pregnant I am not allowed to travel that far.” She went on to plead with the fans to empathize with her situation. “Please stop with the salty shit. I physically cannot get there. It’s mad annoying that you cannot understand.”

Over the last weekend, Alison Wonderland put up a stellar performance at EDC Las Vegas despite being heavily pregnant. She posted a video of her before the show, captioning “I somehow made it through EDC Las Vegas” with a shot of her in a wheelchair. The solid mom-to-be has continued to rock the decks at various festivals despite being close to her due date with a recent appearance at Coachella‘s Gobi Stage.

Most recently, she updated on Twitter that she has “2 doctors and an ambulance waiting for the stage for after I play to check I’m not about to give birth.” Despite some of the fan’s insistence at her canceled appearances at upcoming shows, many of them displayed their fervent support for her and offered their love, clarifying that she “absolutely rocked it” and wishing her and Baby Wonderland a safe and healthy adventure.

If there is one thing that Alison Wonderland has proven, it is her incredible ability to hold her grit and continue to slay her performances on the deck despite being 9 months pregnant. We wish nothing but the best for the supernova and cannot wait for Baby Wonderland to join her at future performances.
