Sully Releases New Single “Scuba” Inspired by Travel Day in Seattle

Sully delivers hard-hitting beats and punchy bass lines with deep travel inspiration in THE new single “Scuba” out on WAKAAN.

WAKAAN mainstay artist Sully recently unveiled his latest high-octane single “Scuba”. The highly anticipated track is deeply thematic and weaves a thorough storyline that traverses feelings of being on vacation. Sully brandishes his signature dark visceral production to deliver a track that encapsulates an irresistible rolling feel.

With added wobbly bass line and synths reminiscent of a free fall energy, “Scuba” is a track that is set to command the dance floor. Sully stays true to his quintessential sound and reaches for epic sonic height with the intoxicating production. Audibly boasting atmospherically entrancing drum beats, the prolific artist has crafted a rousing gem in this latest release.

Sharing his inspiration behind the song, he dived into his creative process to incorporate his travel experiences and musical instinct. “Scuba is one of the most simple yet effective tracks I’ve ever worked on. I had a travel day in Seattle and was staying with my friend Jesse for the afternoon. He had a copy of Ableton and a very small sample library on his computer and I decided to make a track with the downtime I had. It was a one-of-a-kind creative state where everything I did was working – two hours later I had most of the track that you hear today laid down.”

Coming up, Sully is ready to bring forth his infectious energy to festivals and live shows such as Electric Zoo, Imagine Festival, WAKAAN Music Festival, and Global Dance Festival after rounding out Sol Fest Music and Arts Festival this past weekend. Fans can look forward to his latest merchandise line at these new shows. They include various items like ELEV808 soccer jerseys, DripDropLabs logo hoodies, and reversible bucket hats among other high-quality clothing.
