John Summit Launches Off The Grid Radio to Showcase Underground Talent on Sirius XM

John Summit is at it again – DJing and owning his own record label/event company wasn’t enough. now, he will take on his very own Sirius XM radio show.

Off The Grid radio debuted for the first time on Friday, May 4 and John Summit surprised fans by making the announcement on the same day it aired with a live performance. John Summit wants to bring the underground house and techno music to light through his station. Along with showcasing smaller artists to get recognition.

John Summit said having his own radio show is a dream-to-reality moment and proves he is a man of his word. The dream really did come to life as about a year ago he tweeted: “Siriusxm is great but it needs more underground channels IMO (in my opinion) and isn’t available for everyone.” He specifically said at the time he wanted to create a station exactly how it came to fruition – “exclusively live sets and mixes showcasing the underground.”

The goal of his Off The Grid radio show is truly heartfelt as it reflects John Summit’s quick rise to fame and wanting to give other smaller artists a shot in the spotlight. John Summit became popular in just a few years and took the industry head on, which has led him to become one of the most recognized artists in electronic dance music currently. The 28-year-old did this by having great talent, bringing a unique style, and giving off a relatable vibe as he is from the Chicago suburbs and was once an accountant.

Off The Grid has been up to some major ventures lately too as it recently threw an iconic show at San Diego’s Petco Park along with a first-ever house/techno event in Tennessee’s The Caverns. Next up, Off The Grid is headed to the Masonic Temple (Movement Afterparty) in Detroit, MI, on May 2 for a highly anticipated show with Dom Dolla and the Mirage Takeover in Brooklyn, NY, on June 2.

John Summit is also headed to Red Rocks in Colorado on May 14 and to Hangout Music Festival on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama, on May 19. After that, he will be international in Spain, Canada, and Greece with a few Vegas appearances in between. Then he’ll be back for Hard Summer in Los Angeles, CA, Elements in Long Pond, PA, Moonrise in Baltimore, MD, and more.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
