Franky Wah Drops Stacked Lineup for SHÈN Summer Residency at Club Chinois in Ibiza
Franky wah Has Garnered a Stacked lineup for His debut SHÈN Ibiza Summer Residency.
The English DJ’s debut Ibiza residency at the legendary Club Chinois will take place from June 18th to October 1st. Leading up to the official SHÈN summer residency commencement, Franky Wah announced on Instagram that he will continue to unveil further details about what’s expected to take place all season long.
The latest announcement from the SHÈN label boss is that each Sunday of the residency, a distinct artist will perform alongside him. Franky Wah launched the record label/luxury clothing brand just last year, and this upcoming summer residency is going to showcase what the imprint is truly all about.
The opening party will be taking place on June 18th from midnight to 6:30 a.m., featuring a wide array of house and techno acts throughout the night. This debut opening night soirée will include performances from the likes of Kalisma, Richie Blacker, and Sasha & John Digweed to help kick off this new exciting summer residency in full force.
Throughout the rest of the summer, some artists that will be joining Franky Wah on stage are Artche, Cosmicat, Denis Horvat, Francesca Lombardo, Hot Since 82, Miss Monique, and Simon Doty, to name a few. With a performance from a special guest each week, attendees will be able to experience an evening-to-morning party in the most bustling part of Ibiza all summer long.
Last week, Franky took to Instagram to go into detail about his plans leading up to the residency. In a post, he explains what fans can expect further.
“Right then people, I’ve got a few big things to shout about this week. Firstly, I’m absolutely buzzing to be back in Ibiza this Saturday to play the opening party for Ants on their 10-year anniversary with a stacked lineup. Secondly, I have a load of new music out on my label @shenpresents this week. After the reaction I got from my last mixtape, ‘This is SHÈN’ I’ve decided to drop another mixtape in celebration of my Ibiza residency at @clubchinois this year. ‘The Road To Ibiza’ mixtape will feature 9 records in total (for now 👀) but this time I’ve decided to invite a load of artists along to collaborate with. The first one is a collaboration with Ukrainian powerhouse Korolova called ‘Lost In Space’.”
Franky Wah recently released a fresh, specially curated playlist to help depict the full-on SHÈN experience attendees can expect during each show this summer.
