Fans React to Skrillex, Fred Again.., and Four Tet’s Groundbreaking Set at Coachella

Coachella attendees were blown away by Skrillex, Fred Again, and Four Tet’s insane performance at the festival on weekend two.

Music enthusiasts across the board have been buzzing about Skrillex, Fred again.., and Four Tet‘s last-minute Coachella set. The 2023 lineup for the iconic music destination was stacked this year. Including a magnitude of genre diversity to entice any music lover hands down.Across six stages compiling over 150 artists. Ranging from Pusha T, Charlie XCX, Bad Bunny, The Chemical Brothers, Rosalía, Porter Robinson, The Garden, iconic Blondie, and many more.

Without a doubt, bringing all the heat with weekend one having a bit of controversy over the underwhelming performance of headliner Frank Ocean. The internet was in an uproar after he bowed out of weekend 2 due to a leg injury. Luckily, the EDM Holy Trinity stepped in to fill the void. None other than Skrillex, Fred again.., and Four Tet. This marked a remarkable moment for the electronic dance community.

Four Tet shared his thoughts on their last-minute but tremendous Coachella set on Sunday, April 23rd. “Having some of the greatest moments of my life recently. It feels magical,” his IG post started. In the last few months, the EDM Holy Trinity has been performing together to seas of people. His post concluded, “You are amazing @skrillex @fredagainagainagainagainagain And huge love to @coachella.”

Fans were more than elated for this unforeseen Coachella appearance. One fan commented, “This was the greatest thing I have ever experienced.” A true testament to the impact of this historical set. Saint Nick tweeted, ” This went down as one of the greatest sets performed in history.” The Holy Trinity closed out weekend two on a high note. “Such a sick a** closing set for Coachella,” tweeted another fan. The entirety of their set was prolific but one song took center stage.

SPACE YACHT tweeted, “We were blessed with COUNTRY RIDDIM AT THE COACHELLA MAIN STAGE.” Nonetheless, the EDM Holy Trinity is setting the bar high for next year’s closing headliners. Not to mention, their ingenuity in capitalizing on the ice rink meant for another artist’s set. Bravo to EDM’s Holy Trinity making history at Coachella 2023. Essentially flipping the script and alchemizing a potential gap into their most prolific moment.
