DRINKURWATER Releases Highly-Anticipated Movement EP on WAKAAN
It’s time to quench your thirst with DRINKURWATER’s new EP ‘Movement.’
From splashy beats to hypnotic rhythms to gutwrenching drops, German-born DJ Kevin Flum (better known by moniker ‘DRINKURWATER’) is making a name for himself in the dubstep and wet bass worlds. His newest release ‘Movement’ highlights this: The three-track EP is as unique and imaginative as the on-the-rise music producer himself.
The EP features three newly released tracks: ‘Movement,’ ‘Closer,’ and ‘Bendy Riddim Straw,’ the latter of which has already become a major fan favorite and has been played live by dubstep legends like Excision and Liquid Stranger.
“I wanted to showcase my weird and heavy sides with this project,” DRINKURWATER explained. “I’m so stoked to bring my sounds to the beautiful Wakaan platform and be able to showcase the variety of different angles I can take with my music. Stay hydrated my friends and keep it moving.”
Flum first began his DRINKURWATER project in 2017 and has been gaining momentum ever since. His initial breakthrough track, ‘Oh F*ck!’ featuring Rated R, was released in 2019 to the delight of live audiences everywhere. From there, he’s gone on to play sets at celebrated EDM festivals around the world including joining dubstep aficionado Blunts & Blondes at EDC Orlando 2021 and scoring a spot on the lineups at Lost Lands, Sol Fest, and Imagine Music Festival in 2022.
The music producer has also toured with many of the genre greats, including Marauda, AtLiens, Liquid Stranger, and more. Between tours, festivals, and social media, DRINKURWATER is creating a close-knit community of fans already.
“oh so stoked for the future,” he wrote in an Instagram post expressing his gratitude last December. “just wanted to thank my fam, my girl, my friends, my team, and my supporters for believing in me and this crazy journey we’re on.”
‘Movement’ EP was released by Wakaan, the record label owned by Liquid Stranger. DRINKURWATER joins a family of up-and-coming dubstep and bass music greats including Redrum, Tripp St., Common Creation, LUZCID, and more.
