Tripp St. Debuts on Wakaan with Experiential Gallery of Sound EP

Tripp St. puts out his highly anticipated and experimental 6-track EP ‘Gallery of Sound’

After putting out his debut SSKHAN single “Lemonade” on the 2023 ‘Synergy’ compilation album. Tripp St. continues to keep pushing forward with his new EP, ‘Gallery of Sound’. This project will be his first-ever release with WAKAAN, which hopefully means more to come. This highly anticipated 6-track EP is the young producer’s first big release since 2021 since ‘Welcome to Tripp St.’.

Additionally, the ‘Gallery of Sound’ explores an array of experimental and unconventional bass sounds. Several other noticeable trademarks include bouncy breakdowns, classic hip-hop samples, and a nostalgic funk feeling throughout it all. With every project released, Tripp St. continues to refine and perfect his sound.

“The inspiration for the title ‘Gallery of Sound’ comes from the name of the first record store I bought music at when I was younger.” Tripp St. says, “They didn’t really enforce the age limits so I was able to get any CDs I wanted growing up haha they throw free concerts in the back of the store and really made a cool little community for us while they could. I wanted to pay homage to those good times with this title.”

The Tripp St. project initially launched back in 2020 and has achieved so much thus far. Since starting the project, he has gone on to release two full-length albums on CloZee’s Odyzey label, along with joining her for his debut set at the curated mini-festival Voyage, prior to being announced as support on her ‘Neon Jungle’ tour.

As any young talent with momentum, Tripp St. has now made appearances at large-scale festivals among the likes of Gem & Jam, WAKAAN Music Festival, Sonic Bloom, GRiZ’s Triple Rainbow, Resonance, Secret Dreams, Electric Zoo, and most recently performing as direct support on Liquid Stranger’s fall 2022 ‘DIMENSIONS’ tour.

Finally, Tripp St. is officially on Daily Bread’s ‘Invisible Cinema’ tour and special guest at Red Rocks Amphitheatre this year. This is only the beginning of a great year ahead.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
