Odesza Shares Surprise Unreleased Single From ‘The Last Goodbye’ Album

ODESZA has officially released their highly anticipated and teased single “Hopeful”.

ODESZA never fails to both amaze and push boundaries within the music community. This week, the duo consisting of Harrison Mills & Clayton Knight released a highly anticipated studio version of “Hopeful”. This is a record that has been featured throughout their 2022 live tour. This track has been a fan favorite that has not gone unnoticed since hitting the stage. The record is currently out now via the duo’s Foreign Family Collective imprint.

“Hopeful” is the first new track released by ODESZA since the release of their album, ‘The Last Goodbye‘. This project earned the duo a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 65th Grammy Awards earlier this year.

“Hopeful” gives its listeners a haunting yet pleasant sound, which takes things back all the way to ODESZA’s early sounds. Many fans mentioned that they explored a new direction in ‘The Last Goodbye’, which significantly departed from their signature sound of house music and heavier twists.

In both their Instagram and Twitter posts they state “This one never made the album but we always felt it was special and in a way encapsulated our time away from the world while writing the record.” Since the announcement, fans can’t stop talking about how this track brings back early ODESZA memories.

Last but not least, if you want to hear the track live and catch ODESZA on one of their upcoming tour dates, you’re in luck. The duo is making festival appearances at CRSSD, Okeechobee, Governor’s Ball, Electric Forrest, and Fvded in the Park.

Since we’re still early into 2023, it’s safe to say that ODESZA will be adding more dates to their schedule. But for now, fans around the world can enjoy “Hopeful” and “hopefully” feel some early emotion from the early ODESZA days or even their own early days.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
