Amnesia’s Flagship Pyramid Party Announces Opening Show of Ibiza Season with Amelie Lens & Layla Benitez

The iconic club Amnesia announced its opening Pyramid party for the 2023 season, featuring a killer starting roster of performers.

For those unfamiliar with Pyramid, Amnesia launched the concept in 2018 to bring new energy to Ibiza’s party scene. Pyramid’s theme borrows from ancient Egypt, as its decorations consist of a large LED pyramid and other mystical elements. The party quickly became a hit among clubbers and has become one of the most popular events on the island.

This year’s Ibiza season opening promises to be even more spectacular than previous editions thanks to Pyramid. Taking place on April 28th, during the IMS weekend, Pyramid will include world-renowned DJs Amelie Lens and Layla Benitez. Since the entire industry will be in Ibiza for the influential conference, this first party of the season is always particularly full of energy and excitement.

Amelie Lens, one of the most exciting techno DJs of the moment, will be headlining the event. The Belgian artist has been on a meteoric rise since she burst onto the scene in 2016. Her intense sounds quickly made her a highly-coveted DJ worldwide, and her sets remain a treat at any music event.

Layla Benitez, daughter of legendary DJ/producer Joe Claussell, will also deliver a top-notch performance at the opening show. Furthermore, the DJ has made a name for herself in recent years, playing recently at Day Zero Tulum and Ocaso Festival in Costa Rica. Her eclectic music taste and ability to blend different genres seamlessly make her a perfect fit for the Pyramid party.

As always, Amnesia’s production team has gone all out to create an immersive and mind-bending experience for partygoers. The club’s iconic pyramid will surely be the centerpiece of the setup, with projections, lasers, and visual effects supplementing the overall atmosphere. The sound system, carefully designed to deliver the best possible audio experience, is sure to make the dancefloor shake.
