DJ Snake Wipes Social Media to Announce Superbowl Performance

DJ Snake alarms followers when he clears social media accounts in preparation to announce his performance at the upcoming 2023 Superbowl.

Following our favorite DJs and producers on social media is common for many music fans. We love to get a glimpse into our famous artist’s day to day, and even keep up with their latest tours and public announcements. So, what would you do if one day you went to check on what your favorite artist was up to but their account was nowhere to be found? Well, that is exactly what happened to fans looking for DJ Snake’s social media accounts over the last week. 

If you were one of the many people trying to find DJ Snake last week, you were in for quite a surprise. The popular DJ and producer one day just decided to erase all his accounts. Ultimately, leaving fans worried and wondering what was going on. Was this a public relations move to announce something big or did DJ Snake decide to just take a hiatus from social media? Maybe a New Year’s resolution or something. 

William Sami Étienne Grigahcine, known by most as DJ Snake, is a French music producer and DJ. He first earned international praise in 2013 for his banger “Turn Down for What” which blew him up instantly. Since then, this icon has continued to grow in his craft. With popular tracks with Selena Gomez and Cardi B to being a certified member of Tchami’s Pardon My French crew, he is a producer you know at least a few songs by. So, why erase all social media?

His disappearance was felt by many, including popular DJs and producers themselves. In a tweet, Ookay posted “Nah what happened to DJ Snake’s Twitter :(.” The post received tons of comments from fans, stating how they noticed his disappearance too. Ultimately, DJ Snake had gone missing on socials. This left everyone still questioning, but why? 

Luckily, fans and Ookay did not have to wait long for an answer! On January 26th, the legend was back! He posted some fantastic news for everyone. He announced he was going to be performing as a special guest DJ for the 2023 Superbowl! Most people will be tuning in to watch the Chiefs and Eagles go head-to-head. But, I will personally be tuning in to catch this performance. So, be sure to tune in for the halftime show on February 12th to enjoy some beats from DJ Snake at the Superbowl!
