Virtual Riot and Girlfriend Ava Clover Share Christmas Wishes Following Poly Drama

After a year of relationship drama, a canceled tour, and other areas of his personal life being aired out, Virtual Riot shared a Christmas photo with his girlfriend, Ava.

Virtual Riot has been pursuing a relationship with Ava Clover after allegedly splitting up with his wife, Johanna. Knowledge of his shaky relationship with Johanna became public when there was news of a physical altercation earlier in the year. Initially, Johanna claimed that Lektrique pushed her, however, she quickly retracted her statement and said he did not harm her.

Johanna, Virtual Riot, Lektrique, and Ava Clover were all involved in a polyamorous relationship. When the drama with Lektrique first went down, Johanna alleged Virtual Riot became addicted to drugs under the influence of Ava Clover. At the same time, someone noted that Johanna lashed out due to her mental illness.

Virtual Riot Polyamorous Relationship

From there, Johanna continued to bash Virtual Riot and Ava Clover with claims of animal and drug abuse. Virtual Riot’s wife even listed some of his clothes for sale on her IG stories. In one instance, she opened up about her mental health with her followers.

In the meantime, Virtual Riot has been touring and celebrating life with his girlfriend Ava Clover and hasn’t publicly responded to any of the allegations made by his wife. However, he did cancel some tour dates in November for a mental health break, stating “the last year has been truly difficult for me.”

In no time, Virtual Riot was back in full swing – touring and releasing music. He even participated in Subtronics ‘Antifractals’ VIP + Remix EP,  reworking “Spacetime” (with Nevve). Most recently, he wished fans a Merry Christmas with an Instagram photo set with his girlfriend Ava Clover, in preparation for his Countdown NYE show.

His caption reads, “Merry Christmas from @avaclover and me! ?? I hope you’re all having some dope holidays and that I’ll see you all at the upcoming shows next year \^-^/ I’ve got lots of plans for next year and am most excited for the new series of studio time and premiering a cool new live show 😉 see you at COUNTDOWN in T minus 5 days ?”

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
