Blunts & Blondes Hosts Christmas Toy Drive

Dubstep artist Blunts & Blondes organized a Christmas Toy Drive while his name has been involved in controversial discussions.

On Wednesday, December 14th and 21st, dubstep DJ Blunts & Blondes hosted a Christmas Toy Drive at TK Lounge in Tampa, FL in conjunction with TK Entertainment. He played a set and offered meet and greets for those who dropped toys off.

In October of this year, Blunts & Blondes was accused of sexual assault for an incident that occurred in 2019. Regarding the allegation, the artist had tweeted back that he wasn’t capable of such a thing and that he was looking into legal action. Many fans and EDM artists alike were quick to pick sides, and the allegation has remained a controversy as the artist went on to say, “the truth will be shown.”

The allegations have resulted in consequences for Blunts & Blondes. There has been disruption caused to his tour and 2023 booking at Backwoods Festival; DJ Griz removed their collaboration track from streaming platforms; and supporting acts DRINKURWATER, Benda, Yookie, and Space Wizard have dropped from his ‘Life of a Stoner’ tour lineup.

Last month, Blunts & Blondes played a packed set at EDC Orlando. The artist extended gratitude towards fans who showed up and supported him. He’s also slated to play Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival this coming spring.

Regarding his toy drive, Blunts & Blondes posted on his Facebook fan page ‘Blunts & Squad,’ writing, “Hey guys! doing another toy drive at tk this Wednesday!! Tryin to fill up these bags to give to boys and girls club! If you’re in Tampa come through tk lounge 8 pm to 10 pm to drop off a toy. I’ll be playin a 30 minute set as well!! Hope ya’ll are having a happy holiday and thank u guys for supporting all these years. Love y’all, Mike.” Loyal fans commented underneath: “God bless you Mike!” and “Will keep supporting you!!!”

Aside from promoting his toy drive and showcasing his EDC set, Blunts & Blondes has kept a low social media profile recently. We will follow up if there are any developments.
