Ravenscoon Finishes Year Off with Collab-Packed EP on WAKAAN

As the year winds down, Ravenscoon drops an EP collaboration with a few friends creating a promising release on WAKAAN.

Ravenscoon closes out 2022 with his newest EP, ‘Collide,’ via WAKAAN with the support of two of his musical mates. Paul Conversano aka Ravenscoon has a tradition of dropping a fresh EP every December, and this year he brought the fire. Last year he released ‘FUN & GAMES,’ EP, exploring “wook bass” and trap sound. This year he teamed up with Ruvlo and VLCN to celebrate his three best tracks to date.

Today, Ravenscoon took to Instagram to not only celebrate Monday but to make a toast to his recent release. His post captioned, “Happy Monday!! here’s your reminder that I dropped a massive 3 track dubstep EP on Friday – if you haven’t listened yet plz do :).” Many followers were overjoyed about this noteworthy creation. 

“Major bangers on the ep!!! ?,” commented one fan, with another noting, “Thank you Santa ??.” In the holiday spirit, Ravenscoon added, “also we’ve added FREE DOWNLOAD links to ALL THREE songs on SoundCloud for the high-res WAV files as a nice holiday gift <3.” To fans’ delight, Christmas came a little earlier with this massive collaboration. 

The three-track, 11-minute EP, ‘Collide,’ dropped on Friday, December 16th. The EP ignites with “Shake” a bass throbbing track showcasing Ravenscoon’s recognizable beats. Next up is “Rated R,” featuring Ruvio. “RATED R is a well-crafted mix of heavy and weird which fits perfectly in both of our sets showcasing both of our styles,” stated Ruvlo. 

Closing out the album with, “Bussin,” featuring VLCN. “I love how this track is the perfect blend of contemporary dubstep and experimental with a heavy old-school flavor influence,” VLCN commented. Ravencoon has been quite busy this year with several other single releases and a heavy touring schedule. He graced the festival stages of Bonnaroo, Sonic Bloom, WAKAAN Festival and Summer Camp.

Moreover, his musical presence has been on demand. Fans are still fluttering as he opened for Liquid Stranger “DIMENSIONS” tour most recently. 2023 is around the corner with gigs already lined up for Bass Country and Gem & Jam.
