Acraze Shares Highly Requested Lil Wayne Edit of “A Milli”

ACRAZE teases fans with an Instagram post demonstrating the craftwork that went into his fan-favorite edit.

ACRAZE took to Instagram to give fans a peek into the creation of his famed edit of “A Milli.”  The DJ showed us his silly side, sipping on espresso and mimicking a phone call into a banana as part of his bit.  The “A Milli” rework undoubtedly makes crowds go bonkers, as evidenced by his recent set at EDC Orlando.

The Staten Island native had quite the year, skyrocketing to widespread recognition in the electronic music space with his refreshing and versatile sounds. Firstly, ACRAZE celebrated receiving half a billion plays on Spotify, going Platinum in 7 countries and Gold in 12.  Additionally, his remix of Sam Smith’s “Unholy” proved a mega-hit, raking in nearly 8.5 million streams in just two months.

This recent edit is proof of ACRAZE’s recent shift in musical styles from bass-heavy beats to complex genre-defying house music. Initially known for his pumping bass in “Marco Polo,” the artist well confirmed his ability to re-master and blend different sub-genres to his liking. ACRAZE produced a house rework of “Funky Town,” demonstrating his ability to not marry himself to one particular sound.

While ACRAZE recently finished his final leg of touring for the year, we’ll undoubtedly see much more of him in 2023.  He will be playing at Celine Orlando on New Year’s Eve, although tickets are fully sold out online. There’s always time to snag one on resale, so definitely consider adding it to your plans if you’re in town.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now. I have always had a knack for writing and the power of words, which I continued cultivating through a Philosophy degree in college. Now, I am finishing up law school and hope to merge my passions by working in the music industry. I am an avid traveler and am certainly not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My next bucket list items to attend are Tomorrowland in Belgium and ADE in the Netherlands. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists include Franky Wah, Kevin de Vries, Eli Brown, and John Summit.
