Manic Focus Opens Up About Bipolar Disorder Struggles

Manic Focus wanted to give his followers an update on his mental state and plans for 2023. 

On November 29, DJ and producer, Manic Focus, took to Instagram to let his fans know that creating social content isn’t always easy with his bipolar disorder. The caption wrote “The social media grind is exhausting, but I’m still here working on some fun things. Thanks for riding with me!” 

Although dealing with bipolar disorder can be a daily struggle, MF wanted to let his fans know he’s not slowing down and that he’s excited about the future. He wrote, “I’ve been working on a lot of new much with some pretty cool artists that I’m really excited about, as well as my own albums for 2023.”

Additionally, MF wrote “Just wanted to let you know I appreciate you and am incredibly grateful for your love and support this year. I’m really excited for this next chapter of Manic Focus adventures, and hope you’ve enjoyed what I’ve created so far.” 

As we get closer and closer to 2023, you can still catch MF as he starts wrapping up his fall tour. Since August, MF has been touring the US with his hybrid tour which involves a live band set or a DJ set. The tour also has some amazing support acts which include Maddy O’ Neal, The Sponges, AHEE, Jason Leech, and Phyphr.

As the Manic Focus tour comes to a close, you can still catch him at his remaining shows in Burlington, Brooklyn, and Cambridge. Last but not least, Manic Focus’s final show of the year will be a New Year’s Eve live band performance in Baltimore. The show will be held at the Baltimore Sound Stage and will include some support acts such as 5 am trio, Thought Process, and Phyphr.
