elrow Showcases “Delusionville” for a Fantastical Night at Art Basel 2023

In conjunction with Link Miami Rebels and in collaboration with esteemed street artist Ron English, elrow delivered a sold-out, picturesque party in Miami over the weekend. 

To kick off an unforgettable 2023 Art Basel weekend, the traveling festival elrow touched down at Factory Town in Miami on Thursday evening. The sunrise-to-sundown event featured two stages, internationally acclaimed DJs, outlandish art pieces, and surreal characters. 

The event’s artwork was curated by none other than Ron English, who’s been dubbed the “godfather of street art.” English’s “Delusionville” was born in Ibiza and made the journey all the way to Miami for an exclusive US version of the beloved party. Manifesting his live interpretation of the POPaganda art movement, English included crazy characters like three-eyed rabbits, aliens, and clowns. The creations made reference to pop culture, the advertising industry, cartoons, and more. 

Art Basel’s elrow presented itself as a mini-festival. There were a host of unique food vendors, handmade craft booths, art installations, and even a massage table. While the main stage boasted the exotic artwork, confetti, and strange characters, the second stage, fully equipped with lasers, took a more underground approach. 

Taking the main stage were industry leaders like Dombresky, BLOND:ISH, Cloonee, and Paco Osuna. As a sunrise-to-sunset event, fans watched the sun come up while elrow frequenter Paco Osuna commanded the dancefloor. Another honorable mention goes to Canadian DJ BLOND:ISH who had the crowd at her fingertips for her entire hour-and-a-half set. 

Ibiza’s number one party did not fail to deliver on a single expectation. Spirits were high, feet were moving, balloons were dancing through the crowds…and so were eight-foot-tall chickens. With over 2 million people attending 134 shows hosted across 65 cities in 33 international territories, elrow has solidified its place as a party every person needs to experience once (or many times!) in their lifetime. Its special “Delusionville” edition was one for the books.
