Time Warp Returns to NYC For Two Historic Nights of Techno

Time Warp returned in full force for its fifth US edition, bringing world-renowned techno DJs like Nicole Moudaber and Adam Beyer to one of New York City’s most iconic venues.

For the past 28 years, Time Warp has hosted more than 50 editions of its techno extravaganza. In 2000, Time Warp established its home base in Mannheim, Germany. The festival has since spread its influence across the globe with locations in New York, Amsterdam, San Paulo, and Milan.

In conjunction with New York-based promoter Teksupport, Time Warp has returned to Brooklyn Navy Yard, which has become one of the most iconic venues in the US for house and techno music. It only felt right for the two-night, internationally acclaimed music showcase to host its US event right here on New York’s most beautiful waterfront.

Brooklyn Navy Yard is situated just north of downtown Brooklyn on the East River. The venue offers breathtaking skyline views with an intimate, underground vibe. Walking through the navy yard felt like a maze with a booming techno dungeon on the water as the prize.

Inside the warehouse, the walls were draped with black sheets. The ceilings were adorned with LED fixtures to dance along with the rhythm of the music. Time Warp effectively created a subtle yet electrifying visual atmosphere to welcome fans from all walks of life.

Time Warp enlisted some of the most sought-after names in techno music to breathe life into the venue. Friday night’s edition saw performances by Mink b2b Pablo Romero, Sven Väth, Mind Against, and ARTBAT. On Saturday, Time Warp welcomed FadeFace, Anfisa Letyago, Enrico Sangiuliano, Adam Beyer, and Nicole Moudaber to the party.

With a carefully curated lineup and stunning audiovisual synergy, together, Time Warp and Teksupport created a 90s-style warehouse rave for the books. We’re already counting down the days until we can reunite on the dancefloor at the next big event.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!

What's your reaction?
