The Brooklyn Mirage Has Revealed Stunning Renovations Ahead of Opening Weekend

The beloved Brooklyn Mirage has shared the first photos of their brand new space along with a stacked Spring and Summer 2022 calendar of performances.

The Brooklyn Mirage has been the delight of New York City music lovers since its inception in 2017. The expansive venue has just completed their third round of renovations in time for their 2022 launch, and they are nothing short of amazing. The additions will include a state of the art 200-foot wide video wall topped by a 100-foot custom-built stage roof. Attendees will also have access to new areas among the several mezzanine and balcony levels, and will have unobstructed views from a newly enhanced dance-floor stage placed at the back of the venue.

Billy Bildstein, the ever-imaginative founder, owner, and CCO of Avant Gardner, led the creative construction of the re-imaged Mirage. With the most detailed design seen yet, Billy worked closely with the multi-media studio Conveyor to add to the already-immersive production. The updates include one of the world’s largest outdoor video walls measuring in at 200 feet in length and 30 feet high.

Viewers will have the pleasure of experiencing film grade visual effects, displayed over 1000 LED panels at 15K ultra-wide resolution, with roughly 30 million pixels. The custom-built media server and its technology will allow visual content creators from across the globe to go above and beyond with lighting and stage design. Traditional show visuals are a thing of the past as experiences will be generated in real time, and set in hyperrealistic environments.

The Brooklyn Mirage’s brand new construction and roof design was designed by NYC-based construction studio HEINI, and spans over 100 feet wide and 50 feet in depth. The roof itself was built to emulate a floating effect from its modular space-frame system the first of its kind to be built in the US.

On the exciting new changes to The Mirage, founder Billy Bildstein said: “The Mirage was always meant to adapt and change, to appear and to disappear. Every new generation of the Mirage innovates with new custom methods of building modular structures, as well as with non-traditional use of the latest multi-media and entertainment technology available. This year we’re introducing the third generation of our Mirage concept and while it will bring a lot of improvements and upgrades, and will set new standards on many levels, we found a way to keep the soul of the last generations alive.”

In addition to the phenomenal renovations to the space, The Brooklyn Mirage has gone above and beyond with their Spring/Summer 2022 performance lineup. Opening their fifth season with a bang, the 80,000 square foot paradise has enlisted shows from a multitude of world-class artists, who will be taking the stage between May and October.

Fans will see headlining performances from Adam Beyer, Big Gigantic, Charlotte de Witte, Cuco, David Guetta, Dom Dolla, Duck Sauce, Marshmello, MK, Slander, SOFI TUKKER, Tiësto and more. Venue mainstays, Bonobo, Boris Brejcha, Disclosure, DJ Snake, Galantis, Get Real, Gorgon City, Kaskade, Nora En Pure, will also return.

The Brooklyn Mirage will also welcome back their favorite international event brands All Day I Dream, Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep, Boiler Room, Dead Beats, Drumcode, elrow, and KNTXT who are set to host venue-wide takeovers. But in true Avant Gardner fashion, many more performances are sure to be revealed in the coming weeks as the doors reopen and music lovers return to the hottest venue on the East Coast.
