Canabliss Makes Wakaan Debut With Scintillating New EP ‘Plasma’

Toronto-based producer Canabliss makes her debut on WAKAAN with an energetically charged-up EP, ‘Plasma.’

Her highly anticipated new four song EP is not only her WAKAAN debut but it also couples with her first nationwide tour alongside WAKAAN label head Liquid Stranger and followed by select dates on Rezz’s Spiral tour. This EP is a big step in her promising career.

Toronto-based producer Canabliss will also be making some important appearances at several renowned festivals including Forbidden Kingdom, Summer Camp, and more to be announced. With her release on WAKAAN Canabliss is starting off 2022 with some big announcements that definitely have her fans excited.

Canabliss has quickly made a name for herself in the music industry and has also established a dedicated audience. With releases on labels such as SSKWAN and WAKAAN and with her unique style Canabliss is only getting started and has a lot more to show her fans.

After developing an affinity with the bass sector of the electronic music scene, the Toronto-based producer quickly picked up on production and showed the world what she was capable of, with her first SSKWAN release, ‘Freak It,’ in July of 2021.

Canabliss said in a recent interview that “Electricity is everywhere, even in our own brains. Currents is about forming connections spiritually and physically in life.” She also spoke about her new EP saying that “In this EP ‘Plasma’ I explored new sound design with tons of heavy bass and dark atmospheres to help express some of the more difficult times we experienced these past couple years. In Canada we’ve still been pretty much locked down without any live music available, so writing music has been my primary outlet.”
