PORTER ROBINSON RELEASES FINAL SINGLE “MUSICIAN” AHEAD OF ALBUM RELEASE NEXT MONTH – [LISTEN]

Electronic music icon Porter Robinson gives one last glimpse of his upcoming album before the official release

Breaking news! Just a few days ago, Porter Robinson announced the release of his final single from his second studio album, Nurture, and the day has finally come. Porter has been, slowly but surely, releasing snippets from his albums including singles like ‘Get Your Wish’, ‘Something Comforting’, ‘Mirror’, and ‘Look at the Sky’, it’s time to add to the collection!

Earlier this week, Porter announced via Twitter that on March 3rd, the final single, titled “Musician” would be released. Alongside the announcement of the release, Porter also included a video teaser that included an animated video, which you can see below. His eager fanbase stirred with anticipation as the album release date looms closer.

The release of the entire album will soon follow on April 23, 2021, which will include a total of 14 tracks. Just like previous singles dropped from Nurture, the song definitely captures the elated criteria embedded in the auspicious nature of the album.

‘Nurture’ has been highly anticipated amongst fans ever since it was announced in 2020. After Porter announced that he had finally finished the album and that it’s “my favorite music I’ve ever made”, fans clamored even more, especially after being teased by the releases of singles belonging to the album.

This album will be the first album Porter will be releasing in 7 years. Every song he wrote and beautifully crafted in this album has meaningful significance, as this album is a mere reflection of Porter’s journey as he battles through some personal hardships. Although many have thought that Porter spent the period of time during his 7-year interlude taking a ‘break’, he has actually spent this time returning to songwriting, as well as experimenting with musical instruments such as a piano, in addition to his Virtual Self alias.
