[BREAKING] – EKALI SPEAKS OUT REGARDING DOMESTIC ABUSE ACCUSATIONS

Recently, the number of people dropping domestic violence charges has increased. Earlier today Sam Blacky, Ekali’s ex-girlfriend and fiancée, released a slew of allegations concerning her and the DJ/Producer’s tumultuous relationship for the past year. Over the course of the last 24 hours, she has tweeted stories from other women, photos of bruises from her abuse, an official statement and more that you can read here. 

Ekali has just released his own statement, denying the allegations and claiming that Blacky was equally as abusive, sending him into a downward spiral back into addiction. “It’s imperative that I come forward and address the false and slanderous accusations made against me, especially those which label me as an abuser, a lie which goes against everything I believe in and stand for. While I admit I haven’t always been the perfect partner, I would never and have never intentionally harmed or touched a woman in an aggressive manner. 

Out of respect for this individual’s privacy, I will not stoop to the level of detailing our entire relationship over a public forum, but can confirm there was infidelity on both sides and that this person contributed to a magnitude of toxicity within the relationship which reignited many past demons of mine. This includes reintroducing and encouraging drug use in my life shortly after returning from rehab as a recovering addict.

These allegations are extremely painful because I loved her more than anything.  I hope there’s a place for resolution in the near future.”

Some official points have also come forward from individuals who are said to be close with the couple and these are listed below:

-Nathan Shaw (Ekali) and Sam Blacky had a year and a half long relationship that fostered toxic behavior on both sides including infidelity, drug use, and emotional abuse

-On September 20th, Nathan had a very public relapse when the two were returning from a trip and Sam took videos of the event 

-The following day (the day of the alleged abuse) September 21st, Sam told Nathan she was ending the relationship and Nathan put his hand on hers and asked that she not leave. He never once grabbed or touched her arm in violent manner.

-Sam then called the police and said Nathan was mentally ill. The police then took Nathan to the hospital where he was evaluated and immediately released following the minimum required 24 hour stay

-Sam posted the photos of her bruises October 17th, 26 days after Nathan and Sam last saw one another. Timeline does not match up 

-Throughout their romance, Sam pressured Nathan to partake in drug use knowing that he had been two months sober after dealing with continual addiction issues

-Nathan admits that although there was infidelity in their relationship on both sides, he only cheated on her once and all of the claims Sam is reposting on social media are completely inaccurate and false
