Featuring two discs, each explores a different element of Anjunabeats’ roots. The first disc is inspired by the deep and progressive pieces of the label. On the other hand, the second disc pays homage to their signature trace sound. From quarantine in Above & Beyond’s London studio, Anjunabeats Volume 15 was born. The group comments, “The rug has been pulled from under us all as we battle this unprecedented global situation. From isolation comes motivation, however, and it’s time to revisit a trusted friend: the Anjunabeats Volume series.”

First time features include Jordan Post, Le Youth and gardenstate (a new project from Marcus Schössow and Matthew Felner). They are joined by label frequents Andrew Bayer, Genix, Gabriel & Dresden, Oliver Smith, Mat Zo, Jason Ross, Tinlicker, and Sunny Lax.

Anjunabeats Volume 15 is meant to be heard in the order it was constructed. The first disc has been curated to carefully lead into its vehement successor. Throughout both, notable collaborative efforts are made by Andrew Bayer and Genix, as well as Cosmic Gate. Grum also teams up with Genix, and Spencer Brown with ALPHA 9. Plus, the powerful trio Elysian (ilan Bluestone, Maor Levi and Emma Hewitt) is also featured.

Above & Beyond make one final remark regarding the mix, “We dedicate this mix to you, our Anjunafamily, and in particular to those who are facing hardship at the moment. Stay strong, we will dance together again soon.”

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
