CHEE DROPS UNRESTRAINED “QUARTER INCH” EP ON DEADBEATS

The bass music scene has seen an extraordinary surgence of talent in the past year or so, bringing to light underground beat makers with hefty contributions to the genre. One such artist is CHEE, hailing from South Africa and ushering in a unique style that can be attributed to his excellent sound engineering. CHEE is pushing boundaries by utilizing experimental bass in the creation of beats that are not only original, but also filled with euphoric gumption. 

CHEE has just released his “Quarter Inch” EP on Deadbeats Records after garnering attention from bass music giants Noisia, Amon Tobin, DJ Craze, Mat Zo, Culprate, G Jones and more. The 5- track compilation featuring pre-released singles Vultures and Blood Thirsty is hauntingly fantastic, bringing heat with every beat.

“Been working on my Quarter Inch EP for a little over a year now. It’s a 5 track, dance-floor heavy piece of work. Some of these songs I’ve been working on for years, but never really had the confidence to share until now. After the last two singles, I’m grateful this project found a home at Deadbeats.
