Cookie Monsta Releases “You’re Not From Around Here” feat. Flowdan

UK Dubstep don, Cookie Monsta, is serving up another one with his new song “You’re Not from Around Here” featuring grime rapper Flowdan on Circus Records. Flowdan is a certified grime master and his career as an east London MC was wildly successful. For those wondering… Grime is a genre of music that the draws from various styles including garage, drum and bass, and hip-hop over a beat of 140bpm. As a result, Cookie Monsta and Flowdan come together to create a dark, musical concoction not for the faint hearted.

Cookie Monsta’s is known for his low bass, minimalistic, heavy-pumping brand of dubstep that came to life back in 2008. By 2012 his work caught notice from Flux Pavilion who recognized his talent and signed him to his record label Circus Records. “Riot” was released soon afterwards and since then Cookie Monsta has become one of the most iconic names in dubstep right now. This song is another fine addition to Cookie Monsta’s catalogue that follows his crowd lifter “Elevate” that saw support from Knife Party, Excision, Snails and more.
